Fotomentary = Fotography + Documentary

A picture tells a thousand words, but a picture with a well written story, tells another thousand more.

This is the basic idea behind fotomentary.

Every fortnight, fotomentary will publish (online only) documentaries with excellent photography and well written articles from photographers, photojournalists and writers.

We welcome submissions from our readers. All submissions will be evaluated and reviewed before they are published, as not every documentary will make the cut. Evaluation criterias cover the overall quality, subject, and photography quality involved.

fotomentary aims to be sustained through sponsorships from corporations and our readers. Such sponsorships will be translated to prizes and gifts for well-written and published documentaries. Information of the prizes will be announced from time to time on our main page.
